Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
I must admit I’ve never been a huge fan of Adrian, I like his passion a lot but he doesn’t fill me with confidence.

Hart made a few mistakes but I actually don’t mind the lad, with Adrian now making mistakes is it time for a change?

Yes.

Adrian has looked a bit dodgy in the last few games agreed, seeing as Hart was dropped for poor form I don't see why Adrian shouldn't be.

110% spot on.

Adrian flaps around like a headless chicken. Moyes needs to get over himself and play Hart.

Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
I have no problem dropping Adrian, but as was the case last season, what is the point in doing so when the alternative is even more error prone?

Hart, whilst a step up from the horrendously shit Randolph, not only makes silly errors but can't actually save any shot that comes down to his left.

I hope this is an area of the squad that we strengthen in the summer.

a definite yes...Hart will then have 9 matches to save his International career...fancy he might just pull his finger out!

Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
Opinions and all that ( I sound like Mr Bilic :-) ). Adrian has in the last 2 games for sure been at fault for one, maybe 2 goals ( the first for Swansea I thought he should have got down to). He has been looking a tad "flappy" too I agree at corners / set pieces but last game after we lost Reid especially, there was not too much dominant aerial defending.

We need better longer term I think but Hart is worse IMO. His agility or lack of it means he wont flap, he just won't come for anything and his reactions and ability to get across the goal at speed to save are a real concern. His known "low left" weakness would probably have meant him struggling with that Swansea goal too.

Only my opinion but he had too many years at City where he was not worked every few minutes of the game like he is now and he has been exposed as being average and certainly not world class. Over 9 games I wager he will cost more goals than the Spanish Savitus Dancer :-)

When Adrian gets too comfy , he tends to cock-up...
Hart up next please.

He's damaged goods.... he won't play

Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
I agree with Krap and was thinking the same myself. I don't really think either Adrian or Hart are top top keepers and let's face it, with our defence De Gea, Buffon and Courtois could all be in goal at the same time and would concede;. So, with little to choose between them and Hart with WC around the corner, it would make sense to put him back in. He has a point to prove and it could work. Worse case scenario, we are no worse off imo.

I'd give Adrian 1 or 2 more games..

The bigger question should be is should we be offering Adrian a new contract as is reported?

Hart was absolutely woeful at the start of the season. Proper proper shit. Also, he plays for Manchester City.

Our fans are very reactionary.

Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
Not much between them really, and they're both liable to make a mistake, but Adrian every now and then comes up with a save that keeps us in a game whereas I don't see that with Hart. And if we're looking for a deciding factor, for me it's Adrian's evident enthusiasm.

No

Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
Nah not really, not with our makeshift defence. Hart needs a strong defence in front of him, which we don't have.

Adrian, has better reflexes when the defence falls to pieces.

Now if you could mix Adrian and Hart, then you would have a good keeper.

Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
Adrian is assured at least one more game against City

JonWHUFC 5:52 Thu Mar 8
Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
Thames, don't let Sully do the mixing otherwise we will have a keeper with four legs and no arms!

Dr Moose 6:04 Thu Mar 8
Re: Time for Hart to come back into the first 11?
Chopping and changing the keepers also unsettles the defence, as much as our is a calamity at the moment changing the keeper every few games disrupts the relationship between them. They get use to Adrian's style then have to adapt to Harts; rinse and repeat every 7-8 games just adds more uncertainty.

Years ago we'd be looking at Burnley as a 6 pointer, now we're the 6 pointer for them.
